We have driven up and down this road more times than I can remember. It's an easy drive with many wonderful scenic views, hiking trials, rest areas with washrooms, and of course wildlife! The road takes about 45 minutes each way without stops. At the end of the road there is a Maligne Lake you can take a boat cruise... but this article is about wildlife. (more…)

The town of Jasper is pretty cool. Its not overrun completely by large chains. You can also see elk just walking around the town. The candy store in town is awesome to.

This is a nice place to visit. Has some nice restaurants, coffee shops... its right by the lake and has some nice beach area and walking paths and of course has the hot springs.

This was a cool place. I think its about 45min from Los Vegas. You can see mountain sheep, really cool coloured rock formations and a nice drive. For the price its certainly worth it. I believe you can camp in the park as well. Not sure about hookups... but would be a nice place to stay.
