Chain Lakes Provincial Recreation Area – Still frozen over, has camping, fishing (ice as well). Is a cool area, saw a ton of deer on the way out and a moose. The moose videos and pictures didn’t come out well as she was in the woods too far.

Today I took some pictures and a video of Calling Lake National Park near Athabasca Alberta. Lake still frozen and some ice fisherman out on the lake. Wish I got better pictures but you will get the drift.

These deer were standing in the middle of Maligne Lake Road. Just another wildlife viewing on this road. Also another reason not to speed!

<p>We have been to the Maligne Lake Road a ton of times and always take the drive multiple times when we are in the area.  Always see wildlife and wonderful views.  Any there areas you can suggest for wildlife viewing?</p>
