Portal Camp is a 15.9 kilometer lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Jasper, Alberta, Canada that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, horses, and backpacking and is best used from May until October. Horses are also able to use this trail.
We went to Horse Shoe Bend just before they put in a fee to enter. I am not sure what it costs now but probably still worth it. Was a great place to visit. I also assume that with the new fees that it would be updated in terms of the pathway to the bend as it was ok for most people but […]
I have never been to a lake that vehicles could drive on and people could ice fish. Was cool to see. I will have to try it some day. We walked out on the lake which was cool enough. I think this place would be great in the summer. Was a very nice area.
